The state Assembly elections witnessed a slow start in Osogbo, Osun state capital and some parts of Ede on Saturday.
Unlike the enthusiasm shown by electorate during the February 23rd, Presidential and National Assembly elections, in some polling units visited, election materials and officials were seen waiting for voters.
At Ward 9, Unit 2, Oloki Akoda, Ede South local government, Akinribido Sola, the Presiding Officer, told our correspondent that voters would come out later.
He said security at the polling unit was good.
At Unit 13, Ward 4, Osogbo local government, electoral officers arrived early, while few voters were seen waiting to cast their vote.
