Animated Movie, “How to Train Your Dragon: Hidden World’’ is currently topping the chart at the United States box office, grossing in $58 million.

The Internet Movie Database (IMDB) said that the movie which was a continuation of:  “How to train your dragon 2’’, and the final installment in the movie series, knocked off “Alita: Battle Angel’’ to the second position.

IMDB said, “Alita: Battle Angel’’ raked in $12million while “The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part’’ and Dwayne Johnson’s “Fighting with my Family’’, grossed in  $10 million and $8 million respectively.

It listed other movies that made up the top 10 as: “Isn’t it romantic” starring Rebel Wilson, “What Women Want’ and “Happy Death Day 2U’’ which occupied the fifth, sixth and seventh positions respectively.

Liam Nelson’s “Cold Pursuit’’, “The Upside’’ and ‘Run the Race’ occupied positions eight, nine and 10 respectively in the box office.

The U.S box office is the revenue generated by a film while in theaters.

The records are for the United States and Canada together, a market known as the North American box office and domestic box office and where gross is defined in US dollars.
