Ailing veteran actor, Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe, was reportedly admitted at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, (LUTH) Idi Araba, Lagos State on Friday.
This timely development will no doubt aid his recovery as the veteran actor is battling chronic diabetes.
WuzupNaija had earlier reported that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo donated the sum of N1 million for his treatment.
Osinbajo made his donation through the Office of the Youth Organising Secretary of the APC in Lagos, Aregbe Idris.
While making the donation, Osinbajo prayed for the speedy recovery of the actor and also urged more Nigerians to support him.
“God is to us a God of deliverance; and death has no power over your life. I am positive that his healing hands will restore your health and cast out every form of infirmity in your body,”Osinbajo said.
