Elections postponement: Wake up, don’t sleep, it’s time for #NewNigeria – Fela Durotoye
Fela Durotoye, the presidential candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria, ANN, has condemned the postponement of the elections and urged Nigerians to wake up from their slumber.
Durotoye in a series of tweets on his official Twitter handle said Nigeria needs to transform into a nation where technology will make it possible for citizens to vote with ease.
However, Durotoye said “while we may be very disappointed with @inecnigeria preparation for the Presidential elections, we will not be discouraged. We are coming”.
He further encouraged people not to give in to despair stating that the incident is a reminder that it’s time for the #NewNigeria.
Durotoye also took a swipe at the legislature saying that INEC’s funds have been used for campaigns.
He reiterated that the nation is in dire need of a reformation, saying “we will not be discouraged”.
