Two pilots have been confirmed dead when a Swiss military helicopter crashed in the south-east of Switzerland at around midday on Wednesday.
According to the head of the Swiss Air Force, Aldo Schellenberg, a flight assistant was also injured in the tragic incident.
Schellenberg said this when he was confirming the number of victims to the media at a press conference in Bern on Wednesday afternoon, adding that he was “deeply shocked”.
