HE WAS A JOLLY GOOD FELLOW! Surgeon slumps, dies at University of Benin Teaching Hospital
A doctor at the Department of Surgery of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Edo State on Friday slumped and died while on duty at the hospital.
Prior to his death, Dr. Okeoghene Egigba from Okwovwori, Amukpe in Sapele area of Delta state was a Senior Registrar in the Department of Surgery.
The department of surgery was shut down to mourn the death of the doctor, who was undergoing training to become a full-fledged surgeon.
One Chika Ndulue took to social media to mourn the deceased. She described Egigba as a close friend.

She wrote,
Chief Okeoghene Egigba. Dutiful, respectful, warm, jolly good fellow. Even in the world beyond, you will always have my respect. It is all souls day, may God receive your soul, may you intercede for us.
