On air personality, Osagie Alonge, has come under heavy criticisms after his controversial “Loose Talk” Podcast Episode on Wizkid and female singer Teniola Apata a.k.a Teni.

Nigerians on Twiter criticised and lambasted Osagie and his co-hosts for body shaming Teni who has been doing well in the music industry.

In the viral “Loose Talk” Podcast the “unprofessional and overzealous peeps” accused Wizkid of being a drug addict, diverting label funds and a curse.

They also body shamed Teni saying she shouldn’t be singing because “she doesn’t have the looks” adding that she would do better as a songwriter.

One Twitter user, Favour Onyeozire (GCFR) @Rouvafe, in a tweet thread summarised the controversy podcast.

He wrote;

“Here’s my take on the controversial Podcast by Osagie & his team.

“I listened to Osagz and his #LooseTalkPodcast team, they were too harsh & forward. It all seemed like they had been beefing Wizkid all this while & finally got an excuse to pour out their pent up emotions.

“I strongly believe Osagie should get people with a more diverse mindset on the Podcast.

Everyone on it at the moment seems like a ‘Yes Man’, who keeps agreeing to all of Osagz opinions. Boring! #LooseTalkPodcast

“An African proverb will say “it’s not everything that the palm wine tapper sees on a palm tree that he talks about”.

“Osagz should know where to draw the line when disclosing privileged information.

“On the part of Wizkid, Baba should do better as a Son, Father and Artiste. If he would continue to bring Children into this World then he should be ready to bear the sacrifices that come with it.

“Wizkid’s should give himself a pep talk & realize that it is far easier to fall than to rise. His Career is gradually attaining a menopause, it’s time for him to be humble, listen more & get better. #LooseTalkPodcast

“Wizkid has the potential to be legendary. He shouldn’t let the euphoria of past Glory blind him from seeing the vast opportunities ahead.

“At the end of the day, no one is a saint. My only prayer is that we don’t repeat the parenting mistakes our Parents made.

Meanwhile, Osagie has revealed that he has been receiving death threats from unknown people.

He also apologised to Wizkid for his uncensored outburst saying the safety of his family and friends is paramount.
