An 11-year-old girl, identified as Uju, was left with a swollen face after her uncle, one Chibuzor, brutalised her.
WuzupNaija gathered that Chibuzor had accused Uju of telling outsiders about their family problems and issues.
The incident happened at No 29, Akinola Street, Bariga, Lagos. Chibuzor was said to have brought Uju to Lagos, from the village, to live with them, but he and his wife have subjected her to unimaginable heights of maltreatment.

But for the timely intervention of some neighbours who rescued Uju on Friday, more harm might have been done to her.
The neighbours are now calling on all relevant authorities to come to the aid of the girl.
