The remains of a boy have been discovered in a well outside their Edo State home, days after he complained about being chased by evil spirits.
According to online reports, the Lagos-based boy had been visiting his uncle at Ujeme in Ekpoma area of the state when the incident happened.
He was said to have gone missing for days before his remains were found floating in the well on Wednesday morning.

An uncle of the deceased revealed that he was complaining about being chased by evil spirits before he went missing.
Africans do believe in evil spirits, and analysts have opined that it is one of the reasons churches are thriving in Nigeria. WuzupNaija recalled that in January, one Raphael Obi, a self-styled pastor, admitted to sucking the breast of women to deliver them from the ‘evil spirit tormenting them’.
Obi, known among his disciples as Pastor Sharp Sharp, disclosed this while being interrogated by detectives at the Area M Command, Idimu, Lagos.

In his confessional statement to the police, the pastor said that his brand of deliverance ministry involved sucking of women’s breasts.
