FWIFT seeks stronger collaboration among women
In a statement announcing the event, the organisation explained that greater cooperation was necessary to strengthen Nigeria’s creative economy.
It described its objective as bringing women together across different media sectors to share professional knowledge and resources.

FWIFT also disclosed that the convention would be free and open to interested members of the public.
The African Women’s Development Fund is supporting the programme.
FWIFT is a professional organisation focused on mentorship, advocacy, training and career opportunities for women working in film and other media industries.
