WWE held a live event on Sunday at the North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center in South Carolina, where Kevin Owens was among the stars scheduled to appear.

Owens appeared to sustain a knee injury during the show.

Video footage from the event showed the former WWE Universal Champion being assisted toward the backstage area, with the wrestler visibly limping as he made his way out.

Sports journalist Kevin Bilodeau captured footage of the incident and wrote the following,

“Kevin Owens had to be helped to the back after suffering an apparent knee injury at #WWECharleston”

There has been no official update from WWE regarding the extent or seriousness of Owens’ apparent injury at the time of writing.

Owens recently returned to WWE at SummerSlam 2026 after being away from in-ring competition since early 2025. His previous absence was caused by a neck injury that eventually required him to undergo surgery.
