Brock Lesnar’s retirement has created uncertainty surrounding Paul Heyman’s next move, with two of WWE’s most promising young stars appearing to position themselves as potential new allies of the Hall of Famer.
During this week’s episode of WWE RAW, the company honored Lesnar’s legendary career with a special retrospective package featuring memorable moments from his time in WWE, along with messages from several of his longtime associates. Watching the tribute from backstage, Heyman became emotional as he reflected on the conclusion of his longtime client’s in-ring journey — although some believe the story may not be finished just yet.
Following the tribute, Oba Femi approached Heyman to discuss their SummerSlam 2026 encounter against Lesnar. Femi thanked Heyman for the opportunity to compete against “The Beast,” and after their conversation, Heyman offered his hand. The reigning powerhouse accepted the gesture, creating a notable moment between the two.
However, the interaction did not sit well with everyone.
Later in the night, Femi encountered Bron Breakker, a member of The Vision, in a tense backstage confrontation. The two rising stars stared each other down before Breakker made his way to the ring for his match against Joe Hendry. Even while preparing for his bout, the former NXT World Champion continued looking toward Femi, hinting at a potential major rivalry between the two competitors.
After his match, Breakker confronted Heyman backstage and accused Femi of attempting to block his path. The one-half of the World Tag Team Champions questioned his self-proclaimed “Oracle” about the whereabouts of the 2026 King of the Ring winner.
Heyman appeared confused and responded that he had no idea where Femi was. Breakker sarcastically accepted the answer before suggesting that the WWE Hall of Famer had seemingly gained a new “best friend.”
Heyman laughed off Breakker’s comments, but his reaction suggested there could be more behind the situation. Although he dismissed Breakker’s concerns, the legendary manager appeared conflicted and uneasy, leaving fans wondering where his loyalty will lie now that Lesnar’s historic WWE run has come to an end.
