Ghanaian fashion personality, Nana Akua Addo, has made a striking visual statement during the Black Stars’ 2026 World Cup journey, unveiling three custom-designed outfits that drew inspiration from the national flag and the team’s key matches against England, Croatia, and Colombia.

Widely recognized for her dramatic fashion presentations, she elevated Ghana’s national colours into a curated style narrative that unfolded across the tournament.

Each appearance was carefully timed to reflect a specific fixture, effectively transforming match days into themed fashion showcases that blended patriotism with avant-garde design.

On June 23, during the goalless draw between England and Ghana, she appeared in a structured streetwear ensemble dominated by bold leather construction. The outfit featured a cropped red moto jacket layered over a black crop top, paired with oversized cargo trousers. The pants were designed with an exaggerated triple waistband detail that stacked the red, yellow, and green of the Ghanaian flag in sequence. She accessorised with futuristic shield-style sunglasses, a metallic cross pendant, and a spherical red leather handbag that reinforced the edgy aesthetic.

For the June 27 clash, in which Croatia defeated Ghana 2–1, her look shifted toward a sporty, street-inspired interpretation with clear national branding. She wore a custom white graphic T-shirt emblazoned with “GHANA” across the chest, accented by flag-coloured sleeve bands and the number “57” referencing Ghana’s independence year. The top was paired with wide-leg trousers fully embellished with reflective silver discs that created movement, while red, yellow, and green tassels were interspersed throughout to reinforce the national colour scheme.

In the Round of 16 match on July 4, where Colombia edged Ghana 1–0, she opted for a more theatrical and refined ensemble with regal undertones. The outfit centred on a structured satin wrap jacket featuring voluminous puffed sleeves in vivid red and broad gold lapels. Beneath it, she wore flowing gold wide-leg trousers contrasted with a deep green panel, cinched at the waist with a long braided sash in Ghana’s flag colours. The look was completed with elbow-length marigold gloves and a high bun styled with traditional hair sticks, delivering a polished and ceremonial finish to her World Cup fashion trilogy.
