A growing number of professional wrestlers have announced they will no longer work with Austria-based promotion Rings Of Europe following allegations that the company circulated a manipulated explicit image of female wrestler, Diana Strong.

Strong recently accused individuals associated with the promotion of taking a photograph of a nude woman, digitally placing her face onto the body, and then distributing the altered image.

The allegations sparked widespread backlash within the wrestling community.

In the aftermath of the controversy, several wrestlers publicly declared their decision to sever ties with Rings Of Europe. Strong shared a series of statements from fellow performers on her Instagram Stories, highlighting the collective response.

“From today on I won’t be working for Rings of Europe anymore. After the actions the promoters made without the consent of workers, I want to distance myself, because I believe there should be a baseline level of respect for every individual.”

Another wrestler revealed that concerns within the locker room led to a unified decision to step away from the promotion.

“After a discussion with the entire locker room we all decided that we were not feeling comfortable working for Ring of Europe after everything that happened yesterday. So today’s show got canceled.”

A further statement emphasized the solidarity shown by the roster in response to the allegations.

“After recent events taken place at ROE concerning @violetnytepw and @dianawrestling the roster banned together and decided to no longer participate in the show. Respect your talent.”

Strong initially raised the issue in a social media post, warning other women about Rings Of Europe. She has been an active competitor on the European wrestling circuit for several years and continues to receive support from fellow wrestlers following the incident.
