The Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, today officially renamed the Abuja International Conference Centre in honor of President Bola Tinubu.
During the commissioning ceremony on Tuesday in Abuja, Wike announced the iconic building will now be known as the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre.
The newly renovated conference center boasts modern facilities that meet international standards. Wike emphasized that the renaming recognizes President Tinubu’s contributions to national development.
President Tinubu, who recently returned to Abuja after Eid-el-Kabir celebrations in Lagos, commissioned the project as part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades in the federal capital.
The minister did not disclose specific maintenance fees but assured the payment system would ensure sustainability of the facility.
