The traditional wedding date of iconic Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru has reportedly surfaced online, stirring fresh buzz around the couple’s relationship.
This comes just months after 2Baba confirmed his separation from longtime wife Annie Macaulay in January 2025. Following the announcement, the singer openly declared his love for Natasha and his intention to marry her, making headlines nationwide.
In a recent Instagram post, renowned journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus disclosed that the traditional wedding between 2Baba and Natasha is allegedly scheduled for Friday, April 25, 2025. The event is said to be taking place in Benin City, Edo State.
“Singer Tuface Idibia and his lover, Honourable Natasha Osawuru are set wed traditionally. According to Stella Dimoko sources, the traditional wedding ceremony will allegedly hold on Friday April 25, 2025 in Benin city. All is set and the right moves have been made to consolidate the relationship between the lovebirds,” she wrote.
Stella also revealed that prior to the scheduled ceremony, 2Baba had introduced Natasha to the traditional rulers and community members in his hometown in Benue State.
“On Monday April 21 2025, Tuface Idibia formally introduced his fiancée, Natasha Osawuru to the Idoma traditional leadership and his hometown community,” she added.
While neither 2Baba nor Natasha has officially commented on the leaked date, anticipation continues to build as fans await further confirmation.
