Oluwa Dolarz faces backlash over controversial Muslim fasting video

Popular skit maker and singer, Oluwa Dolarz, has responded to the criticism he received from some Muslims over a recent music video he made about Muslim fasting.

The video, which showed him imitating Muslim prayers and highlighting the temptations during fasting, sparked outrage among several Muslim faithfuls who accused him of mocking their religion.

Reacting to the backlash, Oluwa Dolarz stated that many Muslims do not fully understand their religion but simply follow its rules without question.

“Some Muslims are criticizing me because of the post I made. It’s unfortunate, but it seems that many Muslims don‘t truly understand their religion; they just follow the rules blindly,” he wrote.

His statement triggered mixed reactions on social media, with some users urging him to be more respectful of people’s beliefs.
