Ladoja crowned Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland

Former governor Rasidi Ladoja has been officially crowned as the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The coronation took place on Monday, August 12, at the Aafin Olubadan of Ibadanland in Oke Aremo, Ibadan.

The ceremony was conducted by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin. Acting Governor Bayo Lawal of Oyo State was present, along with other top government officials.

During the event, Acting Governor Bayo Lawal presented Ladoja with the staff and instrument of office, marking the formal acceptance of his new role.

The ceremony was notable as the first official event conducted by the Olubadan, following a meeting of the Olubadan-in-Council.

In his speech, Oba Olakulehin praised Ladoja’s contributions to the community and expressed confidence in his new role.
