The Jigawa State Government on Thursday announced the establishment of a ten-member committee for the implementation of the National minimum wage.
According to Dailypost, the State Commissioner of Information Youth Support and Culture, Sagir Musa disclosed this after the state executive council meeting.
According to him “the council approved the establishment of a 10-member committee for the implementation of new minimum wage in the state”
The Head of Service will chair the committee and will include members such as the Commissioner of Justice, Commissioner of Finance, Commissioner of Budget, Commissioner for Local Government, Commissioner for Basic Education, Commissioner of Health, Commissioner of Information, Special Adviser on Salary & Pension, and the Personal Secretary to His Excellency, who will serve as Secretary.
