Religion breeds hypocrites not good people – Daddy Freeze

Media personality Daddy Freeze has teased Nollywood actor and pastor Yul Edochie after a lady shared a testimony of miraculous healing during the actor’s recent ministerial service.

The lady narrated her experience, expressing how Yul’s sermon had led to her miraculous healing from an elongated purging stomach issue.

She credited Yul’s ministerial service, stating that she believed in a miracle and stayed consistent until the end, receiving instant healing.

In response, Yul expressed joy at hearing the testimony, giving all the glory to God. He shared his belief in God’s promise to do great things through him.

However, Daddy Freeze, known for his criticism of religious practices, couldn’t resist a playful jab.

Commenting on Yul’s post (now deleted), he humorously remarked, “Baba don join them o,” referring to Yul joining the ranks of pastors known for performing miracles.

This banter between Daddy Freeze and Yul Edochie is not new, as Daddy Freeze had defended Yul when the actor announced his ministerial calling and launched his first online service.

Freeze argued that Yul is as qualified as any Nigerian pastor to open a ministry, as long as he preaches the truth.

In response to critics, Daddy Freeze highlighted the perceived shortcomings of some pastors, asserting that Yul is not causing more harm than the unscrupulous individuals in the ministry.

Notable personalities like Twitter influencer Solomon Buchi and Noble Igwe had questioned Yul’s credentials and authenticity in the ministry, with different opinions on his suitability to preach the gospel.
