AFCON: Nigeria vs Ivory Coast starting line-up, venue, kick off time
Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has adjusted the starting XI for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Group A clash against Ivory Coast.
Following the 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea, Alhassan Yusuf and Moses Simon have been excluded from the anticipated lineup.
Peseiro opts for a 3-4-3 formation as the Super Eagles face the Elephants today.
Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali retains his position, supported by defenders Calvin Bassey, William Troost-Ekong, and Semi Ajayi.
Ola Aina and Zaidu Sanusi secure their roles as right and left wing backs. In the midfield, Frank Onyeka and Alex Iwobi take center stage.
The attacking trio, featuring Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, and Ademola Lookman, brings an Italian flavor to the offense. The match is scheduled to kick off at 6 pm Nigerian time.
