A yet to be identified woman and her baby narrowly escaped death in the hands of bloodthirsty Fulani herdsmen on Sunday in Benue State.
Reports said the woman’s family members were massacred by the herdsmen who invaded Mbachom village, Turan Jato-Aka Kwande local government area of the state around 5:00 to 6:00 am.
The assailants reportedly killed over 50 villagers including women and children as well as set houses on fire.
The woman and her child were rushed to a hospital in the area where they are currently receiving medical attention.
It was also gathered that the bodies of the victims have been evacuated.
