Real Madric Manager, Carlo Ancelotti has officially announced his retirement plans, confirming that he will conclude his coaching career after his tenure with Real Madrid, which extends at least until June 2026.

Despite being a prime candidate to lead Brazil’s national team in the 2024 Copa America and 2026 World Cup, the 64-year-old Italian tactician prioritized staying with the La Liga giants.

During a press conference, Ancelotti expressed his commitment to Real Madrid, revealing that the club would be the final stop in his coaching journey. “Yes, but it may not be in 2026. Hopefully, I can stay until 2027 or 2028. I want to be a coach, and I like Madrid,” he stated.

While acknowledging the interest from the President of the Brazilian federation, Ancelotti emphasized that his decision aligned with his desire to remain in Madrid.

Ancelotti, who has achieved significant success with Real Madrid, including winning the Champions League twice, holds a unique coaching record.

Not only has he secured the prestigious Cup With The Big Ears four times, but he is also the sole coach to have claimed domestic titles in each of Europe’s top five leagues: Italy, Spain, England, Germany, and France.
