COVID-19: Cuba produces five vaccines, to partner FG on local formulations
Cuba is seeking to partner the Nigerian government on COVID-19 vaccines production.
The Carribean country has developed five COVID-19 vaccines with two already approved
The news was revealed by Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria, Clara Escandell when she visited President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Dr Al-Mujtaba Abubakar, on the need for stronger tie.
Escandell listed her country’s five vaccines as Sobrena 01, Sobrena 02, Mambisa, Sobrena Plus and Abdala.
She noted that three of the vaccines had been approved and had shown high level of efficacy.
