NAN Deputy Editor-In-Chief Olatoye gives first daughter out in marriage
Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Southwest Zonal Manager of the News Agency of Nigeria, Mr Olagoke Olatoye, on Saturday gave out the hand of his first daughter, Rachael, in marriage to Paul Fakorede, in Ilesa, Osun State.
The solemnisation of the Holy Matrimony took place at the Zonal Headquarters of Foursquare Gospel Church in Ilesa on Saturday.
Owing to the personality of the bride father and his sociable, amazing and unique disposition to everyone he came in contact with, the church was filled to the brim.
The District Overseer, Rev. Favour Aderemi, who performed the solemnisation of Holy Matrimony, advised the new couple to love themselves and ensure total commitment to God and each other.
“I urge you to put God first in all you do in order to succeed, and also ensure you live according to the dictate of the Holy Bible.
“Marriage is all about mutual understanding and I urge you to always show sacrifice to each other.
“I believe you both came from good a background and I hope you will hold fast to that which is good to the success of your marriage ,” Adeyemi said.
In his remarks, Olatoye, said that the wedding ceremony was a joyous moment in his family.
He said the wedding, which is the first of its kind in his family, had put an end to “delay marriage” in his family.
Olatoye, who was full of joy, advised the couple to love each other and put God at the centre of the marriage.
He also thanked God and all his friends for their presence at the occassion.
Also, the family of the groom and friends of both families advised the couple to always live in peace, love, togetherness and above all, they should be tolerant of each other at all times.
Staff of the agency in Southwest zone, as well as Olatoye’s colleagues from other states of the country were present at the joyous and memorable occassion.
