Timaya speaks after hit-and-run accusasion, arrest
Nigerian singer and songwriter, Inetimi Timaya Odon, better known by his stage name Timaya, has spoken amid his arrest following a hit-and-run accusation.
Speaking via his Twitter page on Thursday, the ‘Dem Mama’ crooner said that he did not have bad intentions towards anybody.
Timaya tweeted, “Me no get no bad mind for nobody.”
This comes shortly after a video emerged on Thursday, showing the singer being taken away by men in police uniforms.
Though the reason for the arrest has not been made known to the public, the videos emerged a day after the singer was accused of fleeing the scene of a possible hit-and-run incident in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
WuzupNigeria had reported that an Instagram user, identified as Osinubi Omowunmi, had raised the alarm on Wednesday, stating that the victim was her sister.
