Liverpool have progressed into the fifth round of the FA Cup by defeating Championship side, Cardiff City, 3-1 on Sunday.
Jurgen Klopp’s men took the lead through Diogo Jota (53′) before Takumi Minamino doubled the lead in the 68th minute.
Harvey Elliott celebrated his return to first-team football since suffering a broken ankle back in September 2021 against Leeds United with a brilliant finish (76′) to make it 3-0 for the hosts.
Rubin Colwill 80th minute finish gave Cardiff a consolation to end the game 3-1.
Klopp’s side will now face struggling Norwich City in an all-Premier League affair in the fifth round, as well as Southampton who face West Ham.
After knocking out Manchester United in a dramatic fashion, Middlesbrough will welcome Antonio Conte’s Tottenham while Frank Lampard will hope to continue his joyride when Everton host Bournemouth or Boreham Wood in the next round.
