A primary school teacher has been fired by her employers for punching and kicking a distressed horse.
Sarah Moulds was caught in a viral video physical hitting the horse after the animal ran into the road, according to UK Sun.
The British mother-of-two and teacher was suspended during a formal investigation into the assault by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals following the circulation of the footage
Fresh reports on December 20 revealed that the 37-year-old has officially been dismissed from her jobs as a teacher at Somerby Primary School and a director of the Knossington & Somerby Pre-School in Leicestershire.
In an interview with the BBC, Paul Maddox, chief operating officer of the Mowbray Education Trust, said, “I can confirm that Sarah Moulds’ employment with the trust has been terminated.
“As a trust we are committed to ensuring the best standard of education for all of our young people and we look forward to continuing this throughout the 2021/22 academic year and beyond.”
