Grammy award-winning singer, Burna Boy, has emerged as the most-streamed African artiste globally on popular music streaming platform, Deezer.
The announcement was made by Deezer via their Twitter page on Friday.
The development has augmented his soaring brand after he scooped prestigious international awards back-to-back, including a Grammy for his Twice as Tall album plus new nominations for the 64th Grammys scheduled for January 2022.
Deezer in their announcement said, “@burnaboy is the top-streamed African artist on Deezer globally in 2021.
“Congrats to the African Giant.”
Deezer is a French online music streaming service.
It allows users to listen to music content from record labels, including Universal Music Group.
