Bailly nets own goal as Man City beat United 2-0
Manchester City outclassed United with a 2-0 at Old Trafford in the first Manchester derby of the 2020/21 Premier League season on Saturday.
Although the Red Devils managed to avoid a repeat of the humiliation against Liverpool in match week nine, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men had themselves to blame for both goals.
City found the back of the net as early as the seventh minute after an own goal from defender Eric Bailly.
The Ivorian fluffed the ball beyond David de Gea into the United net after attempting to clear a City ball.
City made it 2-0 before the break after a relentless Bernado Silva caught Luke Shaw unaware with an impossible attempt that was pushed into the net by De Gea.
