Super Falcons captain, Asisat Oshoala, has been ranked the eighth most valuable footballer at Barcelona Femeni.
The PUNCH quoting reputable Spanish football statistics website, soccerdonna.de, reports that the Nigerian is valued at €175,000.
Oshoala who has a year left on her Barca contract became the first African woman to win the UEFA Champions League after Barcelona defeated Chelsea 4–0 in the final last season.
The Nigerian is ranked behind the likes of Alexia Putellas, Caroline Graham Hanse and Jennifer Hermoso who take the top three spot on the top 10 list of the club’s most valuable players.
She shares the eighth spot with María León who is also valued at €175,000.
Since joining the Spanish powerhouse on an initial loan in 2019, Oshoala, 27, has netted 40 goals in 39 appearances.
The reigning African Women’s Footballer of the Year has also won the Primera División in 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons.
She also boasts of the Supercopa Femenina in 2020 and the Copa de la Reina trophy.
