Avoid praise singers who rate you greater than your boss – Reno Omokri
Human rights activist and lawyer, Reno Omokri has cautioned his followers not to fall for the antics of praise singers who make them seem better than their superior.
Omokri, who gave the warning via his Twitter account, disclosed that people should be wary especially of colleagues who engage in such acts as they are only enemies who want their downfall.
The former presidential aide recalled that it was similar praise singing by the people of Israel that led to conflict between David after he killed Goliath and King Saul.
Here’s what he tweeted;
“Any colleague who praises you to your boss in ways that makes you appear even greater than that boss is a sly enemy. Remember it was the song ‘Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands’ that brought enmity between Saul and David”
