Former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel on Saturday gave out his daughter, Kehinde, in marriage to popular Lagos media personality, Adebola Williams.
Williams, who is also the chief executive officer of RED Media, got engaged to Kehinde in November and was introduced in December 2020.
However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the couple could not host family and friends as they settled for a union at the court and church blessing, with a few close family and friends in attendance.
An excited Williams broke the news of his marriage to his followers on 273 thousand Instagram followers late Saturday night.
“Today I signed the dotted lines with my lover and friend, Kehinde Daniel now Kehinde WILLIAMS in our Registry ceremony.
“Though we would have loved to be celebrating the full Nigerian wedding ceremony and church blessing as well with family and friends today, alas COVID,” Adebola said on Instagram.
He however added that they would hold a bigger celebration in the “THIRD QUARTER of the year as we both come from families that have enjoyed incredible human support and they would love to share such precious milestone with us.”
Top entertainers such as Timi Dakolo, Bovi and Chioma Omeruah, popularly known as Chigurl, were on hand to entertain the few guests present.
