Student whose noodles got stolen from hostel compensated by manufacturer
A Twitter user, @tifemi26, Tifemi, who had earlier taken to the micro-blogging platform to express displeasure after her noodles got stolen from an hostel, is set to receive two cartons of the product from the manufacturers as compensation.
The student explained that she momentarily went into her room to return the condiments while cooking the noodles in her hostel.
Unfortunately, when she returned to continue her cooking, the meal was gone from the fire.
She lamented that the ‘thief’ scooped her hot noodles leaving a near-empty pot on the burner.
According to Tifemi, the only reason she decided to cook outside her room was because of the heat from the burner.
Sharing a photo of what was left in the pot, she tweeted:
“So for the first time in my two years in this hostel, I said I should cook outside my room cause of heat.”
Now, the manufacturer of the meal, Indomie, has offered to give her two cartons of noodles to compensate her for the two sachets stolen from her.
“We are sorry you had to go through this and we would we love to give you two cartons of Indomie to compensate for it.
“We will be sending you a DM to get your details,” the company wrote on Twitter.
