Manchester City striker, Sergio ‘Kun’ Aguero has fully recovered from COVID-19 which kept him isolated for a number of weeks.

The Argentine has been missing in action for the Citizens since going into isolation on January 10 after initially coming into close contact with a positive case.

He missed a total of seven matches seven games; Man City striker confirmed to have tested positive for Covid-19 on January 21.

He has also suffered a hamstring injury setback which has hampered his season, making at least three appearances for the current league leaders who won all seven games in his absence.

In a post on Twitter on Sunday, Aguero said: “Fully recovered from COVID-19, I was at the club’s gym today, and soon I’ll be back training with my team-mates. Can’t wait.”

However, it is uncertain if the 32-year-old will be available for City’s trip to Burnley on Wednesday due to limited training time.
