Don’t allow external forces destroy us – Sanwo-Olu
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has appealed to the residents to not allow external forces to jeopardize the peace enjoy in the state.
Sanwo-Olu said this during a stakeholders’ engagement, tagged, ‘Internal Security and Conflict Resolution in Lagos State.’
The governor who cited the arson experienced during the EndSARS protests urged security operatives and other authorities to I’ve swiftly in curbing any action that could affect the well-being of the state.
He said, “We have to reignite the communication link between government and the people so that fifth columnists or conspiracy theorists will not be able to infiltrate and spread disinformation and misinformation that would jeopardise the future of our country or the opportunities available for our youths to contribute to the greatness of our country.”
The event was attended by Femi Falana (SAN), Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola; Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, and others.
