UCL: PSG get Neymar, Mbappe boost ahead of RB Leipzig match
Paris Saint Germain have confirmed the return for star forward, Neymar ahead of the French Giant’s Champions League clash with RB Leipzig.
The club confirmed on Friday that the Brazillian who was sidelined after picking up a knock on October 28 in the UCL match against Turkish club Basaksehir has been passed to feature against Monaco in their next Ligue 1 game on Saturday.
Having come through a training session with the PSG squad without any problems on Thursday, coach Thomas Tuchel said the Brazillian could play “a few minutes” tomorrow.
Neymar’s return will be a major boost for PSG as they need a win against the Germans to keep their qualification hopes alive.
Another major boost for Tuchel’s side is Kylian Mbappe who has been off and on due to injuries
AFP reports that PSG might have to make do without Italian pair Marco Verratti and Mauro Icardi who are still injured but Tuchel remains hopeful they would be available for selection against Leipzig.
