Unconfirmed reports suggest that Afropop star, David Adeleke, aka Davido reportedly paid a sum of $100,000 to get US rapper Lil Baby spit bars on his new song So Crazy.

The 30Billion Gang leader dropped ‘So Crazy” off his forthcoming album “A Better Time” which drops on November 13.

Despite critics, the song which dropped days ago has gone on to top Apple Music’s chart of the most-played songs in Nigeria for today, Nov 11.

Surprisingly, Lil Baby’s tweet hours after he kicked off a ranting spree on Twitter sparked much controversy, with fans drawing a one-sided conclusion.

I’m from the trenches how the fucc ima turn down 100 racks to talk…but it’s some bigger in store tho

Although he didn’t directly refer to the collabo with Davido, Baby sure got fans vexed and talking. Nigerian fans slammed his for allegedly disrespecting Davido.

One user said, “100 racks or nah, if you are on a joint you don’t think good enough, it is also your fault, the song you are featured on is also your song. You could tell the artiste to be better, especially when it could be smudging to your brand.”

Another added, “Are you trying to say the rich kid bought a slice of your time?”

“Bro dem suppose mend your mouth for this animal talk… David won’t cease to disgrace us internationally, imagine this high budget Zlatan dey talk,” argued another.

“Na David we suppose blame for disgracing us. Listen to A bigger Picture and come back and delete this Tweet,” added another user.
One user said, “This is highly disrespectful fr. If your rap was that good, the song wouldn’t have been a flop like this! You didn’t save a song you were featured in and you still have the guts to rant. Man, this is childish asf. Even if you was paid for the song, keep quiet and move.”

Although it’s unclear who the tweet was referring to, Lil Baby has since put a pause on collaborations with any singer shifting attentions to his album.
