Mind what you say from now on, Harrysong advices political office holders
Nigerian singer, Harrison Tare Okiri, popularly called Harrysong, has advised politically office holders to be mindful of what they say from now on.
This comes as Nigerians slam political office holders for their comments on the carnage caused by hoodlums who hijacked the #EndSARS protests.
Recall that Lagos lawmaker, Desmond Elliot accused celebrities and social media influencers of promoting hate speech on social media.
Also, his colleague, Mojisola Alli-Macaulay alleged that the vandalism recorded in the state was not as a result of unemployment but because most Nigerian youths are high on drugs.
Harrysong, in a statement on his official Twitter account, reminded the political officer holders that the 2023 general election is closer than ever, adding that power is back with the people.
If u’r holding any political office, mind wat you do and wat you say from now o..POWER is back with the people … 2023 is closer than u think ..true selfless and loyal service to the people will go a long way …take this advice and thank me later
