I wore black for seven days to mourn dead #EndSARS protesters – Shina Peller
Federal lawmaker, Shina Peller has said that he wore black for seven days to mourn the EndSARS protesters who died last week.
Shina Peller who made this known on social media urged Nigerians to allow peace to reign.
He said that the citizens have the chance to make a better Nigeria in 2023 which is when the country will be having another general election.
He shared on Instagram:
“A week ago yesterday, we lost some of our own. Brave men and women who died fighting for a better Nigeria. For 7 days, I was wearing black to mourn the departed.
“Today is a new day, and with it, comes new hope. No doubt we are UNITED and we have FAITH, so let us allow PEACE to reign in order to attain the PROGRESS we desire.
“843 days to go for another chance to re-write our story and prepare a better Nigeria for the next generation. There is Hope in 2023. No time to check time. #Hope2023 #JusticeMustBeServed.”
Shina Peller is the lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency in Oyo State.
