What happened to Tara Durotoye’s store after supporting #EndSARS protest
Entrepreneur Tara Durotoye has cried out after her store was vandalized by hoodlums who hijacked the EndSARS protest in Lagos.
Before the hoodlums hijacked the protest, Tara Durotoye had been showing support to the EndSARS movement demanding an end to police brutality.
Her Instagram page shows a lot of posts which she shared as part of her contribution to the movement.
In one of the posts, she wrote:
“I salute and commend everyone who has spoken up and stood up in protest against police brutality and to #EndSARS now in October 2020 and over the past four years in 2016 and 2017 and 2018 and 2019.”
Tara Durotoye has now added a new post which shows the extent of damage the hoodlums did to her store and others located in the same mall.
She wrote:
“Good morningggggggg fam! I got the courage to visit my vandalized store yesterday to see the extent of the damage. The destruction to economic assets in this singular mall alone is disheartening. Spoke to some entrepreneurs who are BROKEN as a result. I always find comfort in the book of wisdom. This is where I found comfort today

17 Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,(A)
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
19 The Sovereign Lord is my strength;(
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights.SAY AFTER ME “THE SOVEREIGN LORD IS MY STRENGTH “
