JUST IN: Police kill #EndSARS protester in Surulere, Lagos
Reports making rounds on social media have revealed that an EndSARS protester has been shot dead in the Surulere area of Lagos during a protest against police brutality on Monday.
Although the identity of the deceased has not been discovered, videos uploaded on social media showed the individual lying lifeless with a gunshot wound and blood.
@CourageNgele on Twitter tweeted, “We just lost a Nigerian to a gunshot, at the Surulere protest ????.
“The medical team did their best to keep him alive. The young Nigerian also put up a good fight.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t make it.”

Other videos on Twitter also showed police officers beating female protesters as they were taken forcefully into the police station at Barracks, Surulere.
