JUST IN: Mailafia arrives DSS office
The Former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Deputy Governor, Dr Obadiah Mailafia on Monday stormed the office of Department of State Services (DSS) in Jos, Plateau state.
Mailafia, who was a guest of the DSS last week, was interrogated for six hours but later released unconditionally.
The DSS was said to have ordered a fresh invitation to him.
Mailafia who arrived the DSS office at exactly 12:10 pm was in the company of his wife, Margaret Vou and Lawyer, Yakubu Bawa.
Speaking with journalists on arrival, he said he was not told the reason for the fresh invitation, adding “I was not told the reason for this invitation but I have to honour the invitation as a loyal and obedient citizen of this country. I believe in this country.”
