Some sinners have more love than churchgoers, Reno Omokri says
Nigerian author, Reno Omokri, has taken to social media to dish out some of his famous ‘Reno Nuggets’ and this time, his focus is on churchgoers and sinners.
In a recent post shared to his official Instagram page, the former presidential aide explained that beer drinkers often show care to their friends and sometimes even invest in each other’s business.
However, the same cannot be said for some churchgoers who are often in cliques and are not so welcoming to each other.
Omokri then questioned why they look down on beer drinkers as he believes some sinners have more love than churchgoers.
He wrote:
“If beer drinkers hear that one of their friends are sick, they visit him. If he can’t afford medicine, they contribute towards buying it. They listen to each other and provide moral support when their fellow is down.
They even invest in each other’s businesses. You in your church can’t help each other.
In fact, if you are in the ushering department, you can’t enter the choir members clique. Yet, you look down on beer drinkers? If Christianity is about love (and it is), some sinners have more love than churchgoers!”
