Akwa Ibom discharges 27 COVID-19 patients
The Akwa Ibom State Government has discharged 27 more patients from the Ibom Specialty Isolation Centre, The PUNCH reports.
The Commissioner for Health, Dominic Ukpong, while briefing newsmen in Uyo said with the 27 patients discharged, there remained five more patients in the isolation centre.
Ukpong said,
“Today is the day we’ve had the largest number of discharged cases. We discharged 27 people today, and that is very large for this state.
“They are all going out without symptoms. They have been with us now for 19 days under the management of our health team.”
