67 Nigerians from Abidjan arrive Seme on Wednesday – Immigration boss
The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede, on Wednesday said 67 Nigerians from Cote d’Ivoire arrived at the Seme control post.
Babandede said NIS operatives received them and after thorough profiling, handed them over to the Lagos State Government represented by the Special Assistant Health to the Governor of Lagos State. Dr Tunde Ajayi.
According to a statement on Wednesday by NIS Public Relations Officer, Mr. Sunday James, titled, “Arrival of 67 returnee Nigerian citizens,” the CG said 58 of the returnees are from Osun; Lagos, 4; Oyo, 2; Ondo,1; Edo, 1, and Ogun, 1.
He said, “For the record 67 returnee Nigerians from Abidjan arrived today Wednesday, April 8, at Seme Control Post where the NIS operatives received them and handed them over to the Lagos State Government represented by the Special Assistant Health to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Tunde Ajayi after thorough profiling with the following details: Osun-58, Lagos-4, Oyo-2, Ondo-1, Edo-1, Ogun-1, total 67 returnees.”
