There was eerie silence in the Big Brother’s house on Sunday Night after show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu called out Gifty’s name as the next evictee. Biggie had saved Marvis and it was only ThinTallTony and Gifty left. Ebuka paused to heighten the mood then proceeded to call Gifty as the next housemate to leave.
Gifty couldn’t have planned for a grander exit.It seemed as if she had saved her best act for the last: when Biggie called her name, she swiftly walked towards the door, without blinking or looking back as if she was in a hurry to leave the shark tank that the House had become for her.
In the 10 seconds that followed Gifty distributed her hugs among the housemate who fell silent until Ice Prince and Vanessa Mdee calmed the mood with their performance on stage.
Gifty had been a majoor talking point in the house. She had been attacked by been accused several times of being fake.
Before she fell head over heels for Soma who was among the first to be evicted, she had been described as a slut by Soma. She also caused a stir on the internet last week after she denied knowing Banky W and Falz. She had also told Biggie in the diary room that she felt Banky W was proud.
