Auno attack: Buhari arrives Maiduguri on sympathy visit
The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has visited Maiduguri, Borno State, on a sympathy visit over the latest killings by the Boko Haram terrorists.
Buhari was said to have landed in Maiduguri at 12:45pm from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Recall that the recent Auno attack took place at a location just 25 kilometres to Maiduguri, on Sunday.
The Boko Haram terrorists killed about 30 persons, burnt a number of vehicles filled with food products and other goods.
The attacks forced the closure of the Maiduguri gate by the military this week.
