The Senator representing Bayelsa East constituency, Ben Murray-Bruce, on Friday, visited Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in the Northern region.
This was made known in the pictures shared few minutes ago on his Twitter handle Ben Murray-Bruce @benmurraybruce with the caption: #TrueStoriesFromIDPs #DaloriCamp The @NigAirForce is doing a good job with the hospitals but there is urgent need for an X-ray machine.
The business magnate and politician who is the founder of Silverbird Group applauded the Nigerian Air Force for doing a great job with the hospitals, but he reiterated that there was an urgent need for X-ray machine.
Murray-Bruce who is a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) took out time out of his busy schedule to visit the IDPs camp and access the situation himself.
The Senator disclosed that at the Dalori Camp, a few schools exist but lack of uniforms make it difficult for teachers to identify their pupils.
Recall that last week, officers and men of the Nigerian Air Force made personal donations to IDPs camps across the country. The donations which comprised cash and food items were conveyed to the IDPs camps across the country through Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Wives Association (NAFOWA).
