Recession ke! Nigerian Igbo billionaire buries father in pure gold casket (Photos)
late Chief Benneth Offor, father of billionaire business man, Emeka Offor, was on November 17 buried in a pure gold casket at All Saint Anglican Church, Oraifite, Anambra State.
Chief Offor died in February this year, and before the date for his burial was announced, his son Emeka, who is an oil magnate, warned pickpockets to steer clear of his father’s funeral because of the dignitaries that would attend.
Notable dignitaries present at the burial ceremony include Former CBN governor, Prof Charles Soludo, Former Governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi, Senator Ekwunife, Senator Ubanese, Governor Willie Obiano, Senator Andy Ubah, Dr Ifeanyi Patrick Uba, Former Governor of Adamawa state, Murtala Nyako, Former Governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime, Senator Ken Nnamani, Senator pius Anyim, Olisa Metuh, Yakubu Dogara, Senator Abaribe among others.
